Mr. Rust is an associate in the firm's Knoxville office whose practice focuses primarily on civil litigation.  Mr. Rust handles cases involving a wide range of individual and corporate clients, including the areas of employment law, premises liability, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, construction, professional liability, workers' compensation and litigation involving the closing of real estate transactions.  Mr. Rust has served as first chair and second chair counsel in jury trials before the Tennessee State and Federal Courts, in addition to regular motion practice in both State and Federal Court.

Born in Knoxville, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee (2005) before obtaining his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia (2008). 

While in law school, Mr. Rust served as a Senior Staff Member on the John Marshall Law Journal.  Additionally, he was a member of the 2007-2008 Moot Court Board.  In 2008, he was the recipient of the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Employment Discrimination Law.
