Representative Client Work

Barret's insurance defense practice focuses on the defense of businesses and individuals in various types of litigation.  Representative case work has included, but is not limited to litigation involving contractor liability on large scale highway construction projects; contractor liability in home construction; home inspectors' liability in mold cases; medical device product liability for manufacturers and distributors; product liability for large chain distribution centers; errors and omissions liability for insurance agents/agencies; premises liability for businesses, etc.  Mr. Albritton's experience also includes the representation and defense of trucking firms in both the liability and workers' compensation realms both in state and federal court. 

Barret's Workers' Compensation practice includes extensive experience in the representation of employers and defending them in workers' compensation claims with a significant motion and trial practice at the administrative level and also in the State Courts.  Barret has also represented employers at the appellate level presenting appeallate arguments on issues of notice of injury, causation, last injurious exposure, and statute of limitations defenses.
