Representative Client Work

Mr. Reese has represented a broad range of clients in various types of litigation.

Successfully drafted and argued dispositive motions leading to early resolution of claims, including a motion for summary judgment in a catastrophic personal injury case at a construction site.  Appeared before Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals to defend against appeal of Order granting summary judgment.  

Represented multiple defendants in premises liability cases in Tennessee, including drafting successful motion for summary judgment in a case wherein the plaintiff fell at a shopping center owned by the insured following Tennessee Supreme Court’s decision to implement a heightened burden for obtaining summary judgment.

Obtained summary judgment for road construction contractor on large scale highway construction project wherein contractor was alleged to have negligently constructed roadway causing damages to adjacent landowner.

Represented local law enforcement officers in a variety of employment related issues, including handling appeal of adverse employment decision to Chattanooga City Council. 

Mr. Reese has also successfully defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation trials throughout East Tennessee.
