Chuck Hoey is Of Counsel with the Atlanta office. He has been litigating insurance defense claims since becoming a lawyer in 1989. He works for a number of insurers and self insured employers including Penske Truck Leasing, Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Gap, Maxim Health Care, Rich Products, and the State of Georgia. He has worked with a number of third-party administrators including Chubb Services, Gallagher Bassett Services, Corvel Claims, Sedgwick, Crawford and Company, and GAB Robins. Mr. Hoey is a workers' compensation specialist who also handles jury trials, general insurance defense claims such as motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and slip and fall, and subrogation reimbursement. Not content to dwell on past success, Mr. Hoey combines his experience with knowledge of new and developing areas of law such as cyber liability, e-Discovery, and spoliation.
Mr. Hoey provides clients with the ability to make informed choices about their cases based upon a thorough investigation of the claim and exploration of all possible ways to successfully defend claims and limit exposure. Mr. Hoey lives in Atlanta with his wife, and has three sons; one at West Point, one studying at Georgia State, and the third who is joining the Marine Corps. He combines his skills, experience and knowledge with the tenacity and persistence honed by years of playing rugby in college and law school.
