Dana Holloway is the senior member in the firm's Knoxville office, having served as managing member of that office since 1997.  He has represented corporate, insurance and transportation clients across the state of Tennessee for 21 years.  His practice focuses on premises liability, trucking litigation, products liability and general civil litigation.  Over the past three years, he has become known as an accomplished civil mediator, having successfully mediated approximately 135 cases including large loss liability cases, commercial cases and complex construction matters, with a success rate of over 90%.

Mr. Holloway believes in a pragmatic and practical approach to the practice of law.  Whether it is in the trial of cases or simply in the day to day dealing with clients and other attorneys, he firmly believes that "doing the right thing" never goes out of style.

Representative Client Work

Successful as mediator in obtaining negotiated agreement in residential construction liability case involving allegations of defective construction of a 1.8 million dollar house.

Successfully defended a restaurant in a case of first impression regarding 1st Party liability under the Dram Shop Act.  Tennesseee Court of Appeals agreed that no 1st Party claim arises under the Act.

Obtained a defense verdict for a chemical distributor following a five day product liability trial in Federal Court.  Product allegedly caused a fire that destroyed a business.

Successfully defended a trucking company-jury returned verdict finding that plaintiffs had suffered no injury in accident of admitted fault.

Obtained Summary Judment for a food distributor in case of hepatitis A outbreak at a local restaurant.  Case involved over 200 plaintiffs, 18 defendants and over 15,000 pages of document production.

Obtained defense verdict for driver of automobile involved in accident resulting in catastrophic injuries to mother and death of her 18 month old child.
