Matt Drake is an associate in the firm's Knoxville office whose practice focuses primarily on workers' compensation and general liability.

While in law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Drake served as an Articles Editor for the Tennessee Law Review and was a member of the moot court board.  He also worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Judy Cornett, contributing on multiple law review articles.

During his time at Lee University and the University of Tennessee, Mr. Drake stayed active in the Cleveland and Knoxville communities by volunteering for multiple organizations and projects, including: Habitat for Humanity; Saturday Bar; the Boys and Girls Club of America; Hope Initiative, and Wills for Heroes.  Mr. Drake also serves on the Lee University Business Alumni Board.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Drake served in the United States military.  His service included an 18 month deployment with the United States Army as part of  Operation Iraqi Freedom III.  During his deployment  Mr. Drake received multiple awards, including the Combat Action Badge.
