Mr. Exum is an associate in the Chattanooga office whose practice focuses primarily on workers' compensation, motor vehicle liability cases and other general insurance defense.

While in law school Mr. Exum served on the Henry Upson Simms Moot Court Board  and was a Justice on the Cumberland Honor Court. Mr. Exum also received the Scholar of Merit award for Professional Responsibility.

Obtained Summary Judgment in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on behalf of an insurer alleging arson of a residence by the insured.

Obtained Dismissal of a government entity involved in a 42 U.S.C. 1983 action concerning expulsion of athletic team members.

Obtained a defense verdict for a trucking company related to a motor vehicle accident.

Represents employers and insurance carriers successfully in workers’ compensation cases throughout East Tennessee.
