Bio

Mr. Cooper represents individuals, businesses, employers, and insurers in civil liability matters, including commercial litigation, transportation/FELA litigation, premises liability defense, personal injury defense, products liability defense, healthcare liability defense, maritime cargo transportation litigation and employment matters. He has represented multiple Class I and Class II Railroads in FELA, RLA and mass tort litigation, including asbestos and alleged cumulative trauma.

Mr. Cooper has litigated matters in both the state and federal courts of Tennessee and Mississippi, including trial and appellate work. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Memphis Bar Association and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. He regularly presents for Lorman Education Services and NBI.

He received his B.A. at the University of Mississippi, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
