Luis A. Botero is an associate in the Nashville office whose practice focuses on general civil litigation.

While in law school, Mr. Botero was the Editor-in-Chief of the St. Thomas Law Review, and worked as a Student Instructor for Contracts law.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Botero was a certified legal intern for the United States Attorneys' Office, Southern District of Florida, Civil Division. He served as a judicial intern to The Honorable United States Magistrate Judge Stephen T. Brown in the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Botero also interned for the United States Department of Homeland Security's Office of Chief Counsel in Miami and completed a legal internship with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Complex Litigation Division.

He remains active in the local community by volunteering as an alumnus interviewer for Vanderbilt University's Undergraduate Recruitment Program, and also helps law school graduates study and prepare for the Multistate and Tennessee Bar examinations.

Mr. Botero is fluent in Spanish.
