Neal Cope is an associate in the firm's Nashville office.  Mr. Cope practices general civil litigation and workers' compensation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cope served as Assistant General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Transportation.  Mr. Cope specialized in road construction matters and regulatory matters before the Administrative Court, including outdoor advertising permits, highway entrance permits, and permits to perform work on the state right-of-way.

As a law student, Mr. Cope was an editor of the Tennessee Law Review.  He also received the Certificate of Academic Excellence in Workers' Compensation, Contract Drafting, and Law & Medicine.

Mr. Cope is active in the Nashville community.  He currently serves on the Bowl Committee for the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Nashville ACC-SEC Leadership Council.
