Bio
Michael Holder is an Associate located in the firm's Nashville office. Mr. Holder obtained his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law where he served as President of Belmont's Board of Advocates, as well as a Notes Editor for the Belmont Law Review. During law school, he earned Best Performance Awards in Trial Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy, Legal Writing and Research I and II, and Civil Procedure. He also won 1st Place in Belmont's Dean's Cup Moot Court Competition and received the award for Best Oral Advocate in Region 7 at the National Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, the Tennessee Attorney General's Office, and the District Attorney's Office for Davidson County. He also worked as a plaintiff's attorney for a firm specializing in personal injury litigation.
When he isn't practicing law, Michael enjoys singing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son.
