In August 2006, Ms. Grida joined Leitner, Williams, Dooley, and Napolitan, PLLC as an Associate Attorney. Ms. Grida practice is focused on general civil liability matters including medical malpractice, legal malpractice, workers' compensation, premises liability, automobile liability, and products liability.  She represents clients in both state and federal courts, and has trial experience in the State's general sessions and circuit courts.  Ms. Grida has successfully drafted and argued numerous dispositive motions, which has lead to early resolution of cases, and has also successfully drafted and argued motions in limine narrowing the issues for trial.  She has also tried multiple jury trials, and has received several favorable defense verdicts.  Additionally, Ms. Grida has attained favorable results for clients in bench trials in automobile liability and workers' compensation matters.

While in law school, Ms. Grida was a Member of the Founding Class for the Tennessee Journal of Law & Policy and served as the Research Editor. She was also the Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board, and a Member of the National Moot Court and Dean Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Teams.  Ms. Grida served as a Student Attorney in the UT Legal Clinic representing indigent clients in civil, criminal, and juvenile courts. She was also nominated to the Order of the Barristers and received numerous awards for her involvement in Moot Court at UT.

Ms. Grida is on the Board of Directors for the Memphis Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division where she serves on the Public Service Committee, which is responsible for ogranizing a Local Mock Trial Competition, as well as other community service events for young lawyers in the Memphis area.  She also remains active in the local community.  She is a graduate of the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum, Class of 2008-2009, a program focused on developing the leadership skills of attorneys in their early years of practice and empowering those attorneys to use their leadership skills to make greater contributions to the Memphis community and the legal profession.  As part of the requirements of the Leadership Forum, Ms. Grida and her small group partnered with the Memphis Urban Debate League, a member of the National Urban Debate League, and assisted with its efforts to secure attorney judges and speakers for its City Championships, while also serving as role models to the debate students.  She is also involved with MPACT Memphis, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a new level of social, civic, and cultural engagement among young professionals.
