Born in Knoxville and raised primarily in Blount County, Tennessee, Ms. Willis practices out of the firm's Knoxville office. Ms. Willis received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee (magna cum laude, 1993).  In 1992, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law (1996) and as a law student, was a member of the Moot Court Board (1996).  Ms. Willis worked at Leitner, Williams, Dooley and Napolitan from 1996-2000 as an associate attorney, and returned as Of Counsel to the firm in 2002.

She served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable D. Michael Swiney, Tennessee Court of Appeals from 2000-2002. In the spring of 2001, she served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research at the University of Tennessee College of Law.
