Patton, Lavelle and Chadwell Attorneys Elevated to Member Roles

The firm would like to congratulate attorneys Kate M. Patton, Ethan D. Lavelle, and Allyson H. Chadwell on their new Member positions within the firm.
Ms. Patton has been elevated to Equity Member within the firm. She is located in the firm’s Nashville office and her practice focuses on the area of insurance defense, specializing in workers’ compensation claims. Throughout her practice, Kate has assisted in the litigation of hundreds of Workers’ Compensation claims from their inception through trial and appellate levels. Kate earned her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University, in May of 2016, and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in November of that year. She received her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University, with a B.A. in History and a minor in Political Science. She is a member of the ALFAI Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, ALFAI Future Leaders, Lawyers’ Association for Woman – Marion Griffin Chapter, Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations, and Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.
Ethan D. Lavelle is now a Member located in the firm's Knoxville office whose practice is primarily general civil defense. He attended Middle Tennessee State University for his undergraduate degree, wherein he graduated with a History major and Political Science minor. He went on to attend the University of Mississippi for law school and graduated with his Juris Doctor in May 2016. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Knoxville Bar Association and has been named a Best Lawyer in America, Ones to Watch for Insurance Law, Product Liability Litigation - Defendants for 2024.
Ally Hargett Chadwell is now a Member located in the firm's Nashville office. Ally received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University where she majored in Political Science. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where she served as the Appellate Advocacy Chair of the Moot Court Board, a member of the Dominick L. Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Competition Team, and a student member of the Grisham Law Library Advisory Board. Her practice areas include general liability, insurance coverage & defense, and premises liability.
